Three years on Friday since we met you felt that existential kiss upon your neck.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN, LOVE!

Tonight was outrageous, I had tons of fun. I can’t wait in 365 days it’ll be Halloween once again. Tomorrow me and some friends are headed up to The Rave to see 2 of our favorite bands-The Academy Is… and We The Kings. I’m psyched, I saw WTK at Warped this year, they were awesome live. I’m anxious more than anything to see TAI though because they are probably my favorite band of the decade other than All Time Low. William Beckett writes those lyrics and draw me in and make me relate to them. It’s amazing how he does it, I really wish I could do that. I write (as you know) but I don’t know if I can go full-throttle like that. I’ll get some tips tomorrow—haha.

I do know that he is like me though, we band search. We search for those misled bands that don’t get much recognition and fall head-over-heals for them. William has named off bands that he likes during interviews and such, people go “Never heard of them,  they sound like shit” or “Who the hell are they?” and I sit back and laugh and give them a cock-eyed look. Dashboard Confessionals (<—pretty well heard… now.), The Promise Ring, Alkaline Trio (<—-well heard, now) and many more. I would mention them a few years ago and people would give me weird looks like I didn’t know what I was talking about. They did that with TAI also when I got Almost Here and The Academy EP. I for one loved them then, and I still love them. Might as well forever follow them. I’m not a teenie-bopper idiot who goes ballistic and over dramatic, I’m simply a fan and have been ever since William was doing a solo project called Remember Maine.

I can also say the same thing for WTK, most definitly I have loved them since I bought Between The Ink  & The Paper. Now I do admit, compaired to their self-titled debute, it’s a shit-bomb. But it’s original when it comes down to “Headlines Read-out” with tons of lines that are over-board. You want to sing something, but it just comes out as mumbled words now. Travis Clark also writes some of the most “draw-in” lyrics that I’ve ever heard. It’s amazing how I can be so adicted to these bands and not go nuts right? (Sarcasm is contagious tonight…) So, if you are an OVERLY-dramtic//excited fan girl… (Ha the Twilight chick just enthuses me more right now.) either like her or just “OMG!!!” or in some peoples a Jonas Brother fan’s case “OMJ!!!” you can be calm and I don’t know… NOT FREAK OUT, BITCHES!!

Anyway, Happy Halloween and I’ll post pictures the first thing Sunday morning. More blogging tomorrow!

Love. Emily.
